Principal, Venture Capital, New Media, Boston: We have been retained to recruit a Principal to join a private equity firm based in Boston. Our client is in the process of investing its third fund in exceptional entrepreneurs and technical founders who are building the software solution and technology platform companies that will lead innovation and transform industries. Investment stage agnostic; early rounds to growth-buyouts and transformations, our client invests in tech-enabled businesses, including investments in new media, media entertainment and marketing services.
As such, we seek an experienced deal professional with rigorous/disciplined financial analysis and due diligence skills. The successful candidate will lead transaction teams primarily in new media, media entertainment and marketing services sectors. A strong network of contacts with peers on either coast at private equity/venture capital firms, boutique and regional investment banks, corporate development/M&A departments and entrepreneurs is essential.
As such, he/she will most likely currently be in one of the above groups and be a member of the club that is considered on the "cutting edge" of spaces such as new media, media entertainment and marketing services. A demonstrable record of success in a fast pace, creative and demanding culture is required.
